Where is this shindig happening again?
The
wedding and the reception will both be held at the world headquarters
of American Flatbread, the Lareau Farm at 48 Lareau Rd Waitsfield, VT
05673.

Is there a theme?
Why
yes there is. The theme is 19th Century Nautical, in honor of Cheryl’s
father’s naval service and both brides love of history and the ocean.
Think Master and Commander and Horatio Hornblower. The brides and the
wedding party will be wearing period inspired clothing.

(see this post )
What should I wear?
You
are welcome to dress to match the theme, but it is in no way expected
that you will. Dress should be formal, but not black tie. The wedding is
on a farm in Vermont in October, so wear shoes you can walk in the
grass in and be prepared for the delightfully variable New England
weather. For more information, see our wedding blog.

Where should I stay?
There
are many hotels and bed and breakfasts in the area. If you are coming
as a group or know other people who will be coming, you might consider
renting a vacation apartment or house as a group for the weekend as an
economical option. Go to http://vermonttravelplanner.org/TravelPlanner/Search.aspx?catID=1 for help finding lodging, or look at the blog post dedicated to this information.
How will I get around?
If
you will be coming by plane and/or will be unable to drive, please
contact the people listed as contacts below to coordinate rides and
carpooling. The wedding and the reception will be in one place, so you
will only need transportation to and from the farm the day of.
Can I bring a guest?
We
would love if everyone could bring whomever they wanted to the wedding
(as far as our hearts are concerned, the more the merrier) but
unfortunately our budget does not allow us to be as hospitable as we
might otherwise be. For this reason, we ask that you only bring a guest
if it says “and guest” on your invitation. Feel free to bring whomever
you wish with you to Vermont, as it is a beautiful state and a stunning
time of year, and we would be happy to hang out with you and them on the
Sunday following the wedding, but for the ceremony and reception we ask
that you bring only your lovely selves.
Is there any way I can help?
Probably!
We are doing a lot of the wedding preparations ourselves with the help
of family and friends. If you would like to help, please contact the
family members listed below.
